ESTI Becomes AWS Re-Seller and a Certified AWS Provider

ESTI is proud to announce that we are now AWS re-sellers and certified AWS service providers.

Launched in 2006, Amazon Web Services, Inc. began exposing key infrastructure services to businesses in the form of web services -- now widely known as cloud computing. The ultimate benefit of cloud computing, and AWS, is the ability to leverage a new business model and turn capital infrastructure expenses into operating costs. Businesses no longer need to plan and procure servers and other IT resources weeks or months in advance. Using AWS, businesses can take advantage of Amazon's expertise and economies of scale to access resources when their business needs them, delivering results faster and at a lower cost. Today, Amazon Web Services provides a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of enterprise, government and start-up customers businesses in 190 countries around the world. AWS services are available to customers from data center locations in the U.S., Brazil, Europe, Japan, Singapore, and Australia. In December 2016 AWS announced the opening of its first Canadian Region, providing 'local' low-latency access to the suite of AWS infrastructure services.

Having AWS certified architects on staff, ESTI's mix of infrastructure and application specialists are positioned to provide expertise throughout the AWS suite of services. ESTI has completed significant Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) related projects leveraging AWS Elastic Compute (EC2), Elastic Block Storage (EBS), and Virtual Private Clouds (VPC). At the same time, ESTI has deep application development expertise and has been able to build out Software as a Service (SaaS)/Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions using Relational Database Services (RDS), Simple Storage Service (S3), and Simple Queue Service (SQS). These solutions are but a few examples of how ESTI's cross-section of expertise uniquely positions us to lead your organization's transition to cloud services.
