On May 6th, 2013, a delegation of ESTI Consulting Services staff and partners attended EMC World in Las Vegas, Nevada. Simon Gadd, Partner in charge of Sales and Vendor Relationships at ESTI, attended the EMC Americas Awards Dinner at the invitation of Leonard Iventosch, Vice President, Americas Channel for EMC. At the banquet, ESTI was honored to receive the Canadian Partner of the Year award. Selection for this award was based on ESTI placing in the Top 3 Canadian companies in terms of revenue growth for the award category, and based on ESTI's commitment to the innovation and thought leadership that supports our joint business goals with EMC.

ESTI Consulting Services continues to expand our IT infrastructure practice and EMC has been a key partner in enabling our client's successful infrastructure projects. As a result, ESTI and EMC have invested aggressively in our business relationship to further enable ESTI to deliver successful projects leveraging EMC products and services. These investments led to ESTI doubling its year-over-year revenue related to the EMC product line from 2011 to 2012.
ESTI has achieved Specialized status with regard to Backup and Recovery Systems (BRS), Consolidation and Scale-out NAS. In order to acquire this status, ESTI was required to achieve no fewer than ten certifications related to each Specialty technology including Sales, Advanced Sales, Systems Engineer, Technical Architect and Implementation Engineer certificates. ESTI is required to meet annual sales targets of BRS and Consolidation equipment and complete ongoing certifications in order to maintain our status.
